We haul all of our vehicles to the Shows in our 30 ft or 50 ft long, 8.5 ft. wide and 11.5 ft high van trailers. These van trailers protect the vehicles from road debris, bad weather and/or theft during any trip. By being in an enclosed trailer also allows us to have the vehicles all ready for the show field when we get to the Meet or Show Ground. This eliminates all the cleaning work that is needed if the vehicles were being transported in an open style trailer. These trailers are specially designed to haul my cars and trucks. The front section of the trailers has a small front area that can be used for personal use.
The tractor is a Freightliner Crew cab that comfortably seats five people. It is power by a Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine that is coupled to an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. The long wheel base of the tractor, the long and low trailer coupled to the tractor by a 5th wheel, is the best combination to haul cars and trucks that I have ever driven.
The black trailer is a 30 ATC Trailer that I designed especially to haul my 99” high trucks. Is also has 92” wide passenger escape swing out panel with a removable wheel box cover so we can open any car door with plenty of room when a car is loaded into the trailer. The rear ramp door is designed to handle a 8,000 lb. load without any extra support. Like all my other van trailers the ramp door is raised and lowered by a wench that is mounted in the center of the ramp opening header and uses a detachable cable to lower and raise the ramp door. This eliminates the side cables normally used for ramps which can be a hazard when getting on or off the side of the ramp. This trailer is usually pulled by my 3500 GMC with a Turbo Max Diesel and Allison Auto Transmission.
